This phenomenon necessitates the development and delivery of up to date and flexible education and training in Customs, Taxation and related areas to all players in the system (tax policy makers; tax law drafters and administrators; and taxpayers and their advisors/representative groups).

The Institute of Tax Administration (ITA), being an integral part of the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA), is uniquely positioned to offer and support a range of programs leading to competencies (at different levels) in customs and taxation policy, law and administration, and in related fields.
