ITA recognizes the importance of participation of students in realizing its vision and advancing its core missions. The student organization known as the Institute of Tax Administration Students Organization (ITASO), led by the President and other officials was established to effectively involve students in managing their own affairs at the Institute.

ITASO, which works closely with the Institute administration through the Office of Students affairs, is represented in various important Institute committees. Representative of ITASO also attends meetings of Governing Council.

The Institute management therefore values the contribution of  ITASO, which is responsible for student’s academic, political, social and recreational life. ITA administration also uses this partnership to nurture and mentor ITASO leaders into lifelong leaders.

ITASO businesses are governed through the ITASO constitution that is subject to approval by ITA Governing Council. ITASO constitution can be
downloaded here.

All students enrolled into any long-term programs of the Institute become automatic ITASO members. Members are obliged to contribute to support activities of ITASO through an annual fee and participate in meetings called by the organization including participation in democratic elections which are conducted every academic year.
