Overview
The campus is conveniently located in the environs of the city of Dar es Salaam at Mikocheni B Area, about two Kilometres from Mwenge junction with a bus stop that connects to almost all corners of the city. It has suitable and convenient environments and facilities to support effective learning.
The student affairs unit supports students’ welfare and services in matters relating to accommodation, catering, recreation and sports, health care arrangements, counselling, career guidance, discipline matters and student governance.
Other services provided by the Institute include finance, library and ICT services.
The life and conduct of students at the campus is guided by ITA Student’s By-laws, 2017.

About the Library
The Institute of Tax Administration has a modern Library. The Library is a member of the Tanzania Library Association and is one of the biggest repositories of customs and taxation materials in Tanzania. The library offers professional library and computing services to its clients who are students of ITA, TRA staff and other approved users.
Capacity and facilities
- Sitting capacity of 135 readers at a time
- Over 2,000 titles and more than 10,000 book volumes
- Majority of Library resources are on customs and taxation
- All books are catalogued electronically
- Access to online subscriptions (journals)
Opening timetable
ITA library is opened at 0830hours and closed at 2200hours during week days and opened at 0900 hours and closed at 13.00hrs on weekends and public holidays.

Student's Loan 1
Students’ Loan
The Higher Education Students Loans Board (HESLB) offers loan to eligible Tanzanian students to meet costs in higher learning education institutions.
The loans are applied through the Online Loan Application System (OLAS).
Accordingly, all Tanzanian students who have/will have admission at ITA are strongly advised to utilize such a privilege.
