The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) for cooperation in training, research and related initiatives in the field of taxation. The MoU will be implemented through IBFD’s Tax Services Department and the Institute of Tax Administration which is the training arm of TRA.

Application information

ITA welcomes students from foreign countries. Special arrangements are available for international students to support their application processes and smooth take-off of their studies and life in Tanzania. Interested prospective students from foreign countries may apply directly for admission into ITA programs through the Online Application System.

Prospective international students who acquired their academic qualifications outside Tanzania are required to submit their degree awards to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) through TCU website. Diploma and professional certificate awards are submitted to the National Council Technical Education (NACTE) through NACTE website whereas Secondary School awards should be submitted to the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for evaluation through NECTA website.

 

The applicant shall pay a non-refundable application fee. A non-refundable application fee is payable at the rate of Tanzania shillings (TZS) 10,000 for EAC students applying for CCTM, DCTM and BCTM programmes and 30,000 Tanzania shillings for CFFPC and Postgraduate programmes. For non EAC applicants, the application fee is USD$ 30,000 for all programmes.

After being selected for admission, an international student is supposed to acquire a resident permit and have  evidence of international health insurance coverage before entering into the country.
